Summer Lodging:
CABINS: (3rd-4th Grade) There are four total Cabins located within a short walking distance of the bathouse. Each Cabin is equipped with a door and three windows, one serving as a second emergency exit. A large deck spans the gap between each of the Cabin pairings adjoining them together. Capacity: 12 beds per Cabin
LONGHOUSES: (5th-6th Grade) Brand new in 2009, the floorplan includes a small meeting space and counselor's quarters separating two adjoining bunkrooms with 6 bunks in each. With it's many windows, they are very open and bright. Both Longhouses are positioned near the Lower Lodge. Capacity: 28 beds per Longhouse
COVERED WAGONS: (7th-8th Grade) One of Krislund's most recognizable symbols is also one of Krislund's greatest traditions. The Covered Wagons were upgraded in 2009 through our Adopt-a-Wagon program. New stairs were built for each wagon and new ribbing and covers installed on numerous others. There are sixteen total wagons. Capacity: 4 beds per wagon
ADORONDAKS (DAKS): (9th-12th Grade) The Daks are open log cabin structures placed up the hillside near the Lower Lodge. There are four total Daks situated in a natural and quiet setting. A large pavillion is being constructed for the 2010 summer in this area. Capacity: 7 beds per Dak
Year-Round Lodging:
UPPER LODGE: Currently under renovation, the Upper Lodge is seeing a dramatic transformation. The four cabins surrounding the lodge have been carefully deconstructed so their materials can be reused in the expansion of the main lodge. When completed, the Upper Lodge will have four attached bunkrooms each equipped with adult friendly bunks, a sofa, table and chairs, and its own personal bathroom. The lodge has a full kitchen, a great meeting space with a fireplace and a spacious deck with a great view. Capacity: 40 beds
LOWER LODGE: The Lower Lodge serves as our primary Youth facility. With two dormitory style rooms, two meeting spaces, a full kitchen and two large bathrooms. Just outside the lodge is a large pavillion with a covered fireplace equipped for cooking. Capacity: 20 beds
BROWN HOUSE: This two story farmhouse is perfect for a small group. The Brown House has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. There are two living rooms open to one another. There is a fantastic wood burning stove to make any winter retreat feel cozy and warm. Capacity: 12 beds
POOL-SIDE APARTMENT: This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is perfect for any individual, couple, or small family. The apartment is adjoining to the infirmary which has an additional two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. In warmer months, enjoy sitting out next to the pool with a spectacular view. The Pool-Side Apartment is equipped with a nice living room and a spacious kitchen. Capacity: 6 beds
RC DORMITORY: This fairly spacious dormitory that can be used for any small group. It is located on the West side of the Retreat Center and it has an outside entrance with no attached bathrooms. Capacity: 6 beds
